Australia Cyber League Brisbane - April 13-14 in Brisbane
The Australian Cyber League (ACL) hosts the only nation-wide Xbox 360 LAN circuit. ACL is home to the greatest Halo, Call of Duty, StarCraft II, Fifa 11, Super Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom 3 players in Australia. BenQ Australia cooperated with ACL and lent them 26 units of RL2450H to get more brand exposure and promoted BenQ gaming series to console gamers. Over 1,200 gamers were attracted to this gaming tournament; CoD team from Team Immunity also joined the competition and won the champion of Australia, below are their interview video after competition and recap video made by Team Immunity.

ESL World of Tanks at Supanova - April 12-14 in Melbourne
Supanova Pop Culture Expo (Supanova) is a fan convention focusing on science fiction and fantasy film and TV, comic books, anime, gaming and collectables. It is held annually in the Australian cities of Adelaide, Brisbane, Sydney, Perth and Melbourne. This year, Supanova Melbourne attracted over 7,000 gamers, BenQ Australia cooperated with ESL Australia to supply 52 units of XL2420T for “World of Tanks” Tournament. Besides physical event cooperation, BenQ is also announced as official monitor sponsor on ESL Australia official website.
Shadowlogic road shows
April 7th and 20th in Melbourne2 tournaments were held for FIFA Season 1, Injustice Day on April 7th and April 20th respectively; over 200 people were gathered to enjoy the competition. All the competitors had chance to use RL2450H for competition. With the long-term sponsorship with Shadowlogic, we hope to boost brand awareness among console gamers day by day.

League of Legends Sponsorship from April 3rd to June 22nd
BenQ Korea cooperated with the distributor and Ongamenet, the only one game cable TV channel in Korea, to sponsor the “League of Legends Champions Spring 2013” from April 3rd to June 22nd. As the official monitor sponsor, total 12 units of RL2450HT were used for stage competition. Besides product placement, we also can get brand exposure on KDA ranking, match screen, commentator table and product advertisement during match breaks.
2013 BenQ Global StarCraft II Team League (GSTL) Sponsorship from March 22nd to May 25th
BenQ Korea worked with the distributor to sponsor GSTL 2013 Season I as title sponsor, GSTL is No.1 SC2 team league in Korea and the matches are held on every Friday and Saturday for 10 weeks. Our brand and product banner were shown on commentator’s table to draw viewers’ attention. Furthermore, a big logo was put in the central of venue and spectators can get POSM with BenQ logo to root for gamers.
WARFACE Show Match on April 20th
BenQ Korea continues to cooperate with Nexon to promote XL2411T in Korea. On April 20th, Nexon invited 50 media editors to experience their new game “WARFACE” and had show match for fun. 20 units of XL2411T were showcased and some media editors showed their interest to do product review for XL2411T.

Garena Star League (GSL) 2013 on March 30th to 31st in Bangkok
GSL 2013 was held on March 30th to 31st in Bangkok, this gaming event is for HoN and Ponit Blank game tournament. Around 30,000 to 40,000 people visited this big gaming event and there were 32 teams for Point blank competition (all are Thai team) and 32 teams for HoN from 8 countries. Our distributor, D Sport, was one of sponsors and supported 10 units of RL2240H on stage for competition and 600 units for game demo and qualified round. Total 610 BenQ gaming monitors were used at the same time, which is really amazing.
