From May 15th to May 17th, BenQ Japan has participated in Educational IT Solutions Expo(EDIX), Japan's largest industry trade show where every kind of educational contents / technologies / services for schools gather under one roof. This event was in Tokyo Big Sight, Japan and the total Number of Visitors is 24,040, hitting a record high.
In this event, BenQ Japan presented full product line, including projector MW820ST with PointWrite & MX822ST with document camera S30, LCD monitor GW2760HS / GW2750HM (flicker-free demo) & BL2411PT (16:10/IPS), and IFP RP650 with Face touch by teamLab. The most eye-catching product in the exhibition was MW820ST with PointWrite technology. This technology comes with IR solution and once putting the IR module (PW01) on the BenQ projector and with IR receiver pen, and then a normal white board can become an interactive white board. Many visitors were interested in this new projector technology and believed it’s very useful for educational use. Besides PointWrite technology, visitor spent more time on LCD monitor series to check the details and were impressed with BenQ monitor products. For the RP650 demonstration, BenQ Japan used the “Face touch” developed by teamLab and the application was a reception system that displays photos of the employee’s faces on a touch panel and calls when clients touch the appointed person’s photo. S30, document camera got attentions from teachers and they were satisfied with S30 functions of able connecting with microscope and recording. From this event, BenQ Japan received around 500 people contact info and we look forward to hearing sales good news.
