經濟部商業司10月24日於民生科技服務大樓創新廳及Living Lab舉辦『2012流通業科技化與創新應用案例暨交流說明會』邀國內軟硬體開發商推廣流通業科技化的發展與未來趨勢，讓民眾及業者接觸最新科技，創造更多應用契機。
會場設置研究分享區，由資策會、IBM等研發單位進行趨勢研析與案例說明；展示區則邀相關技術業者現場介紹以開發產品，明基逐鹿整合軟硬體開發”智慧餐廳系統”於該區呈現，吸睛的觸控透明展示櫃引來人潮圍觀詢問；除展示科技外也提供適合流通業的電子簽核及人力資源管理系統，協助客戶夥伴體現高效且完善的服務。
On 24 October, the Department of Commerce in Taiwan’s Ministry of Economic Affairs organized “Distribution Industry Technology Adoption and Innovative Application Case Studies Seminar and Discussion Forum 2012” with Living Lab, inviting domestic software and hardware developers to promote technology applications in the distribution industry. The event helped the public and business to gain an acquaintance with the latest technology, and create more opportunities for applications.
A research presentation area was set up at the venue, with research institutions such as the Institute for Information Industry and IBM offering trend analyses and discussion of case studies. In the exhibition area, technology vendors introduced products they had developed, with BenQ Guru showing its integrated hardware/software “smart restaurant system”. Its eye-catching touch-enabled transparent display kiosk attracted great interest and numerous inquiries. BenQ Guru also provided electronic authentication and human resource management systems suited to the distribution segment, helping customers enable powerful, comprehensive services.
