Continuing its successful cooperation with the Electronic Sports League (ESL) BenQ decided to expend it and signed a new agreement with ESL Poland earlier this May. The main target of new cooperation is to strengthen BenQ’s brand awareness among Polish gamers via ESL community and ESL Pro Series 2012 – national league for professional gamers.
“We are very excited to have BenQ’s support during our gamming tournaments and events. It helps us to provide gamers with the best possible environment to compete and win.” – said Krzysztof Pikiewicz, CEO Turtle Entertainment Poland (the official agency of ESL). “BenQ has a long history in supporting e-sport in Poland. We hope that our cooperation will help the growth of both good reputation of gaming in Poland and BenQ’s excellent gaming monitors.”
First results of this cooperation have been seen during ESL Pro Series Season IV Finals in June 23-24 in Zabrze.

The first day of ESL Pro Series Season IV Finals covered the official opening, qualifications in the lobby and FIFA 2012 Finals.
The second day showed a great duel in Counter Strike between ESC Gaming (World Champion of IEM Season VI, March 2012) and BenQ.DELTAeSPORTS.com. After a very tense struggle BenQ.DELTAeSPORTS.com unfortunately gave a way to ESC Gaming who won the ESL Pro Series.
At the same time in a special BenQ zone, open tournament was played in the StarCraft II (June 23) and the final phase of GoPL4LoL 5vs5 (June 24). The zone was equipped with BenQ’s monitors: all visitors and gamers had a chance to try BenQ XL2420T and BenQ RL2450H monitors in action. All games were showed on a big screen using BenQ’s projectors and were commented by the best casters from ESL TV Poland.
One of the first experiences and great challenges for both parties was hte use of BenQ’s interactive Flat Panel T420 which showed a specially designed interactive application: all visitors got an easy access to the event map, schedule and information about BenQ gaming monitors.
All in one, it was an emotional and unforgettable weekend. More than 3000 gamers came to watch professionals in play, share their experience and just have fun among the same young people with whom they have so little, but so important in common: gaming!
